This one-day session is the face-to-face component of the Oliver McGowan Tier 2 Mandatory Training. It builds on the e-learning module and provides staff with a deeper understanding of learning disability and autism. The course is co-delivered with experts by experience and focuses on communication, reasonable adjustments, lived experiences and inclusive practice. Staff leave with the knowledge and confidence to better support autistic people and people with learning disabilities in their role.
